i-recommend
have this internet marketing wheeze - which could be very lucrative. In fact I am thinking 'Is it too good to be true'. That is why I am calling on a trusted network to help (and therefore participate) in validating it - and getting it started.
Some weeks ago somebody said to me. "You always have somebody to recommend on almost anything. You ought to find a way of exploiting it." I guess it is through being around a long time, (Remember I run Silver Ecademists) having a bit of an encyclopedic mind, and above all being a networker - particularly Ecademy.
So I thought - why don't I assemble my list into a website - say "Daniel Recommends" - describe a product or service - what I have got from it - why I am qualified to recommend it - and then provide a link to the product etc via an affiliate link, and earn commissions. Of course I then would have to blog and even PPC people into that site - but it should be profitable.
Then I thought further. "What if - not only I recommend - but I set it up that anybody could recommend so long as (a) they could show the benefits and (b) they show they are qualified. Then we could share the commissions. My thoughts have gone a lot further than this - now - but this is as much as I am prepared to put in the public domain. Clearly I will need to be assured of total confidentiality before releasing more about the scheme.
I have registered a number of domains (which protects the idea) - come up with a preliminary business model. IT IS NOT AN MLM BUSINESS!
